The data controller is HA HA! Business Ltd., a company registered in England & Wales (Companies House).
What we store
Per workspace:
- the names and birthdays you add (and optional Slack user IDs, used to @mention people in celebration posts),
- your bot configuration (channel, timezone, post hour, advance-notice settings),
- an encrypted Slack bot token, used to post on your workspace's behalf.
Why
Solely to post birthday celebrations and reminders in your workspace. We do not sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising or profiling.

Customer data is hosted with the third parties listed on our sub-processors page.
Retention & deletion
When you remove the app from your workspace, we delete that workspace's tokens, settings, and birthdays. We keep one operational record of the removal itself — workspace name and id, install and removal dates, and headline counts (like how many birthdays were tracked) — so we can spot breakage and understand why the app didn't work out. It never includes anyone's name or birthday. You can also ask us to delete anything, including that record, at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold, and to object to or restrict its processing. Email us and we'll sort it.
